For Decades we have been glued to our screens for content and entertainment, through our phones, Laptops, and TV. It's no longer the case now as Technologies like VR and AR change the tide, this Development dates back to the 1968 groundbreaking innovation of the first head-mounted Virtual Reality Display called "The Sword of Damocles" Since then limited improvements have been made to this technology except until 2010.

Virtual Reality (VR)
Virtual reality immerses you into a new world with the use of a high-quality headset integrated with advanced motion tracking Systems. You wear these Headsets which cover your eyes and what you see is a whole new world that you can explore as you move or tilt. The Major drive behind this technology is the quest for more immersive and interactive Gaming. However, Virtual reality has since seen wide acceptance from doctors using it to prepare for surgery to students exploring medieval worlds and Architects walking their clients through a Virtual reality of their Architectural designs.
Virtual Reality (VR) Technology
VR saw major development in 2010 after Oculus and HTC Vive introduced their High-Quality Graphics and motion-tracking VR Headsets. A later development by Apple (Apple Vision Pro) placed VR on the News Headlines. Meta has also joined the development with Oculus Go. The idea behind this technology is Computer Generated Graphics ( CGI ), Digitally designed worlds, Scenes, and objects are integrated into these headsets and then you're able to interact with this world or object by wearing the Headset.

Augmented Reality ( AR )
Unlike Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality combines the real world with a digital world, with an AR headset you can see what your room would look like if been refurbished or see some interesting computer-generated graphics in your office. Some of the AR Headsets are Microsoft Hololens and Magic Leap however, you can view Some AR with just your Phones.
Augmented Reality ( AR ) Technology
Both VR and AR use the same Technology - Computer Generated Graphics, though VR majors in 3D CGI, AR can be 3D or 2D. Your Snapchat and Instagram filters with Emoji use AR to function and that's a little inspo on the Capability of AR, there are new technologies that allow you to view a 3D object in a 3D view like the real world and it's so interesting seeing that this technologies are still in their infancy.
